titleOfInvention | Mammary gland specific human erythropoietin expression vector, transformed animal using the same, and method for producing human erythropoietin using the same |
abstract | A mammary gland specific human erythropoietin expression vector, a transformed animal using the same, and a method for producing human erythropoietin using the same are provided. The hEPO-expressing transgenic animal of the present invention expresses erythropoietin specifically in the mammary gland, and expresses erythropoietin in milk at a very high concentration compared to existing methods. In addition, hEPO protein produced from the transformed animal of the present invention exhibits stability and superior physiological activity that are higher than those of commercially available homologous proteins. Therefore, the hEPO expression vector and the transformed animal of the present invention can be effectively used for producing hEPO protein having physiological activity superior to that of existing hEPO. |
