The present invention provides novel biomarkers for use in the diagnosis and prognosis of cancerous and malignant conditions, and also diseases mediated by pro-inflammatory immune responses. Biomarkers are glycoproteins whose levels and expression have been associated with specific disease states by the inventors. The present invention further extends to methods used to monitor the response to treatment therapy used in the treatment of cancerous conditions or pro-inflammatory diseases. |
