Stabilized picoplatin dosage form |
abstract |
A method for stabilizing an aqueous solution of picoplatin is provided. Such a solution is particularly useful for adjusting the unit dosage of picoplatin for oral or intravenous administration. Certain embodiments of the invention provide a dosage form of picoplatin, wherein the picoplatin is stabilized against hydrolytic degradation. In various embodiments, the chloride ion in a pharmaceutically acceptable form is present in a pH adjusted aqueous solution of picoplatin, and the chloride ion is sufficient to reduce hydrolytic degradation of the picoplatin. Present in concentration. |
