abstract |
The present invention provides a system and method for producing a hydrogen storage material using a low boiling point solvent or reaction medium. Examples of such solvents or reaction media include dimethyl ether, ethyl methyl ether, epoxy ethane, and trimethylamine. The synthesis of the hydrogen storage material is performed in a selected medium, and after the synthesis is completed, the reaction medium is removed by moderate heating as necessary. |
