titleOfInvention | Adjustment of biomass for microbial growth |
abstract | The present invention relates to a method for improving the yield of a microbial process using lignocellulose biomass as a nutrient source. The method includes preparing an enzyme composition containing phenol oxidase and a lignocellulose biomass-containing composition. The conditioned composition can support faster microbial growth rates in the process. In some embodiments, the laccase composition is obtained from non-woody plants such as corn and / or sugarcane. The present invention also includes a method of culturing microorganisms sensitive to inhibitory compounds in lignocellulose biomass. Furthermore, the present invention is a method for producing a product by culturing a production microorganism in adjusted lignocellulose biomass. [Selection] Figure 1 |
