titleOfInvention | Methods for selecting cells that have internalized nucleic acids |
abstract | There is a need for the identification and selection of compounds that can deliver drugs to cells with reduced toxicity and non-specific effects on the body. In addition, there is a need for a method of selecting compounds that can rapidly internalize drugs to a given tissue, cell or group of cells. The present invention relates to methods, compositions and kits for nucleic acid targeting and selection and delivery of RNA-containing molecules. The present invention involves contacting one or more cells with a random RNA-containing library, treating the contacted cells by digestion with a denaturing agent or one or more nucleases, and providing one resistant to the nuclease or denaturing agent from the cells. Or compositions and methods for extracting a plurality of internalized nucleic acids. |
