titleOfInvention Method for producing aqueous composition of zirconium carbonate and alkaline metal salt and use thereof
abstract The present invention relates to a method for producing an aqueous composition of zirconium carbonate and an alkali metal salt, and a zirconium compound and a heavy compound under conditions where the molar ratio of bicarbonate to zirconium is 4: 1 or greater than 4: 1. It relates to a method in which an alkali metal carbonate reacts in an aqueous phase. The invention also relates to the use of an aqueous composition of zirconium carbonate and an alkali metal salt in a coating bath as an insolubilizer for paper or board.
