abstract | A single sensor meter system that dispenses a sensor for testing an analyte concentration in a fluid includes a container assembly and a single sensor meter. The container assembly includes an inner cartridge and an outer cartridge. The inner cartridge includes a plurality of sensors and mechanical mechanisms. The container assembly forms exactly one opening that dispenses one test sensor at the same time. The opening is covered by an end cap to help prevent or inhibit moisture from entering the container assembly. The mechanical mechanism is configured to advance a plurality of sensors. The single sensor meter is configured to be adjusted and operatively connected to the container assembly. The single sensor meter includes a test sensor removal mechanism configured to pull the test sensor through the opening to a dispensing position. |
