abstract | The present invention reduces the amount of fluorinated emulsifier in a fluoropolymer dispersion by contacting the fluoropolymer dispersion with an anion exchange resin in the presence of a low molecular weight amphoteric surfactant or an anionic surfactant. A method is provided to provide a fluoropolymer dispersion containing a low amount of a fluorinated emulsifier and no nonionic surfactant or only a low amount. |
