titleOfInvention | Apparatus and method for evaporating reactants |
abstract | The present invention relates to an apparatus for evaporating at least one of the following reactants: a) a reducing agent precursor solution and b) a reducing agent precursor. The apparatus comprises at least one electrically heatable heating zone (2), the heating zone (2) comprising at least one electrically operable heating element (3) having a resistance heater (4). And self-regulate with a singular temperature (30). The method for evaporating the reactants and the device (1) according to the invention allow simple adjustment of the urea / water solution evaporation process, in particular for feeding to the reducing agent of the SCR process. The heating element (3) has a singular temperature (30) corresponding to the regulated temperature of the heating element. The requirement for a new control device is overcome by adjusting the steep curve (22) in this range. [Selection] Figure 1 |
