titleOfInvention | Fluoro-substituted benzoxazole polymethine dyes |
abstract | The reactive polyfluorobenzoxazole polymethine dye of the present invention is useful for labeling and detecting biological substances and other substances. The dye is represented by formula (I). [Chemical 1] Wherein X is selected from the group consisting of āOā, āSā and the following groups: [Chemical formula 2] At least one of the radicals R 1 and R 2 is a group -L-R x or -L-R p, L is a linking group, R x is a group suitable for covalent attachment to the dye component And R p is a component and at least one of the groups R 3 , R 4 , R 5 , R 6 , R 7 , R 8 , R 9 and R 10 contains fluorine. When a polymethine dye substituted with fluorine and further substituted with a sulfonic acid group is used for labeling biological target molecules, the label has less dye-dye aggregation and improved photostability compared to the cyanine dye without such substitution. A product is obtained. [Selection figure] [Chemical formula 1] |
