This invention which concerns on a salt is a salt for near-infrared absorption compositions which has the anion shown by a predetermined | prescribed formula, and does not have a near-infrared absorptivity itself. The counter cation of the salt having an anion is preferably an alkali metal cation. The present invention relating to the pressure-sensitive adhesive composition contains a diimonium dye (A) having a maximum absorption wavelength of 1000 to 1060 nm in an acetone solution and a resin (B) having a calculated glass transition temperature of −20 ° C. or lower. Preferably, the diimonium dye comprises a specific diimonium cation and a specific imide anion. Preferably, the acid value of the resin (B) is 25 or less. Preferably, the calculated solubility parameter of the resin (B) is 9.80 or less. The present invention can be suitably used for optical filters for thin displays, optical filters for optical semiconductor elements, thin displays, and the like. |
