titleOfInvention | System for refracting ultrasonic waves and / or light variably |
abstract | The present disclosure is directed to a system that is transparent to and refracting ultrasound as well as light. By choosing the correct optical and acoustic properties, it is possible to variably refract (including focus, deflect or steer) the ultrasound without affecting the refraction of the light, or vice versa. Two lenses in series, or preferably one lens, can refract ultrasound and light variably. |
