A carrier substrate can be delivered to a target site of a patient in a minimally invasive manner by first cutting a collagen sponge sheet into a plurality of relatively small pieces. The fragment is sized so that it can flow through a cannula and / or an estimated diameter syringe tip when wet. The piece is placed in a syringe, moistened, referred to as a morphogenic solution, and optionally mixed with a filling material that is of a uniform size to fit through a cannula. The fully mixed and moist product then forms a viscous aggregate that may be injected into the patient at the target site. [Selection] Figure 1 |
