abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a resin layer coated carrier which is a problem of a wet method, reduces the environmental load due to the use of a large amount of a solvent, and has excellent charging stability. [Solution] A method for producing a resin layer-coated carrier uses a production apparatus comprising a rotary stirring means including a rotating disk having a stirring blade and a rotating shaft, and a powder flow path including a rotary stirring chamber and a circulation pipe. The magnetic mother particles and the resin fine particles are stirred in the flow path to produce a resin layer-coated carrier. In the resin fine particle adhering step, the magnetic mother particles and the resin fine particles are introduced into the powder flow path in which the rotary stirring means is rotating, and the resin fine particles are adhered to the surface of the magnetic mother particles. In addition, at least a liquid for plasticizing the resin fine particles is sprayed by a spray gas from the spray means into the powder flow path in which the resin fine particles are flowing. In the film forming step, the magnetic mother particles and the resin fine particles are caused to flow by rotation of the rotary stirring means, and the resin fine particles adhering to the magnetic mother particles are softened and made into a film.
