Provided is a process for producing an aggregate suitable for producing a drug. An agglomerate manufacturing process comprising: (a) providing at least one first material particle and at least one solid binder particle, the first material and the solid binder comprising: At least one has a predetermined amount of convertible amorphous content, which can be converted to a crystalline form when exposed to a preselected stimulus, the convertible amorphous content being capable of forming aggregates (B) maintaining the predetermined amount of convertible amorphous content while agglomerating the particles of the first material and the solid binder; and thereafter ( c) a process comprising exposing the convertible amorphous content in the aggregate to the preselected stimulus such that the convertible amorphous content is converted to a crystalline form.
