abstract | 【Task】 Provided is a novel copolymer excellent in photosensitivity, development rate against alkali, solvent resistance performance, pattern shape, and adhesion suitable as a binder resin for a resist forming a member in the field of electronic information. In addition, a high-quality color filter portion is formed with high yield using the photosensitive resin composition containing the resin. [Solution] A copolymer obtained by copolymerizing a monomer containing itaconic acid and an acrylate monomer is used as a binder resin. Moreover, the photosensitive resin composition which contains this resin, a radically polymerizable compound, a photoinitiator, and a solvent as essential components is used as a resist for a color filter.
