PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cover a surface of a positive electrode current collector with a valve metal so that the positive electrode current collector is not dissolved even at a high potential in an electrochemical cell using a conventional heat-resistant container. As the coating method, an optimum performance and cost have not been found. In the present invention, an electrochemical cell superior in performance and cost can be provided by coating a valve metal with a shot coating method so that a positive electrode current collector does not dissolve even at a high potential.
