abstract The present invention provides a coated steel material that exhibits excellent anticorrosion properties when partially embedded in concrete or ground. A coated steel material obtained by sequentially laminating a coating pretreatment coating and at least one coating coating on the surface of a steel material having a zinc-based plating layer, wherein the coating pretreatment coating is a part of the steel material. In the coating film, the coating film has a composition different from that of the pre-coating film or is absent in a part of the steel material, and the coating film is formed of an anti-corrosive pigment and an alkaline earth metal sulfate.
