titleOfInvention | Method for producing toner for developing electrostatic image, toner for developing electrostatic image, developer, container with toner for developing electrostatic image, process cartridge, image forming apparatus and image forming method |
abstract | [PROBLEMS] To form a visible image over a long period of time corresponding to a low-temperature fixing system, having good offset resistance, a narrow particle size distribution and a small particle size, high sharpness, high gloss, and excellent color reproducibility. The present invention provides a method for producing an electrostatic image developing toner capable of easily and reliably producing an electrostatic image developing toner capable of forming an electrostatic image. A solution or dispersion formed by dissolving or dispersing a toner composition containing at least a binder resin and a radiation crosslinking monomer compatible with the binder resin in an organic solvent is added to an aqueous medium. After emulsifying or dispersing to prepare an emulsified liquid or dispersion and granulating, the resulting particles are produced by radiation crosslinking at the time of desolvation when the solid content concentration of the obtained particles is 80 mass% to 95 mass%.
