abstract A pneumatic tire excellent in initial wet grip performance is provided. A tire tread portion 11 is made of a rubber composition that can be vulcanized with sulfur, the rubber composition contains 50 to 300 parts by mass of silica with respect to 100 parts by mass of a diene rubber component, and a tire. The pneumatic tire 10 is formed by forming an uneven portion 17 having an average roughness Ra of 5 μm to 50 μm on the surface of the tread portion 11. It is preferable that the rubber composition contains an inorganic agent having an average particle diameter of 0.01 to 50 μm. [Selection] Figure 1
