abstract | An object of the present invention is to reduce the weight of an air permeation preventive layer by arranging a thermoplastic resin or a layer containing a thermoplastic elastomer composition in which an elastomer component is dispersed in a thermoplastic resin. Provided is a pneumatic tire in which even if a tire having a permeation preventive layer disposed on the surface is left outdoors, the air permeation preventive layer is not exposed to sunlight and deteriorates, and the air permeation preventive function does not deteriorate. A method of manufacturing a pneumatic tire includes a step of disposing an air permeation preventive layer containing a thermoplastic resin on an inner surface of the tire, a step of vulcanizing the tire, and a deterioration suppressing layer containing an anti-aging agent.
