abstract | An object of the present invention is to provide a biaxially oriented laminated film which is excellent in dimensional stability and excellent in peeling resistance between layers and suitable for a magnetic recording medium, particularly a base film for digital data storage. Thermoplastic having a function as a compatibilizer of aromatic polyester (a), polyolefin (b) having no polar group, and at least four layers of film layers A and B laminated in total. A laminated film comprising an amorphous resin (c), wherein the film layer A has a proportion of aromatic polyester (a) of 80% by weight or more and a proportion of polyolefin (b) having no polar group of less than 5% by weight. In the film layer B, the proportion of the polyolefin (b) having no polar group is 80% by weight or more, the proportion of the aromatic polyester (a) is less than 5% by weight, and any of the film layers A and B is a film layer A biaxially oriented laminated film containing the thermoplastic amorphous resin (c) in the range of 2 to 20% by weight based on the weight of the above.
