abstract Disclosed is a pharmaceutical composition having an effect of inhibiting viral replication by APOBEC3G by suppressing APOBEC3G degradation activity by Vif. The present invention provides a pharmaceutical composition containing as a first active ingredient at least one selected from the group consisting of the following (a) and (b). (A) is a nucleic acid containing a base sequence encoding a polypeptide consisting of the same amino acid sequence as Hsp70, and (b) is a deletion or insertion of one or several amino acids in the amino acid sequence of (a) A nucleic acid comprising a nucleotide sequence consisting of a substituted or added amino acid sequence and encoding a polypeptide having the activity of inhibiting APOBEC3G degradation by Vif.
