abstract | A high-quality, high-quality aromatic polycarboxylic acid that suppresses rapid and uniform mixing of raw materials and suppresses the formation of by-products and intermediates of high-boiling compounds when polymethylbenzaldehyde is subjected to liquid-phase air oxidation. An oxidation reactor capable of industrially producing an acid and a method for producing an aromatic polycarboxylic acid are provided. A jacket 18 is provided around the reactor body, a central stirring type stirring shaft 4 is provided inside the reactor body, and two stirring blades 2 are connected to the stirring shaft 4. And a rotary atomizer 3 is connected to the bottom of the stirring shaft 4, and the internal space of the reactor is divided into three compartments, compartment A, compartment B, and compartment C, by two partition disks 1.
