abstract | A pressure applied to an unvulcanized tread 13 during vulcanization is easily and accurately adjusted. SOLUTION: First and second detection sensors 34 and 37 for detecting a pressure applied to an unvulcanized tread 13 in direct contact with the unvulcanized tread 13 are provided in a vulcanization mold 22; Since the clamping force by the fluid cylinder 40 of the clamping means 25 is changed based on the pressure detected by the first and second detection sensors 34 and 37, the vulcanizing mold 22 is applied to the unvulcanized tread 13.
