titleOfInvention Silencer for motorcycles
abstract An object of the present invention is to prevent clogging of an exhaust port by mud by preventing mud from accumulating on a tail cap of a silencer and quickly dropping it. An exhaust port is provided in the center of a rear surface of a tail cap that closes a rear end portion of a muffler body, and a rear end of a tail pipe is connected to the exhaust port. The exhaust port 34 is formed in a tail pipe support member 35 attached to the rear surface 46. The tail pipe support member 35 is provided with an annular mud guide groove 37 opened rearward around the exhaust port 34. The mud falling into the mud guiding groove 37 is guided to the mud guiding groove 37, and the mud is moved in the mud guiding groove 37 by a capillary phenomenon to move downward along the mud guiding groove 37 to quickly drop the mud. The exhaust port 34 is not closed by accumulating on the rear surface 46. [Selection] Figure 4
