abstract |
An object of the present invention is a method for producing a coated paper for printing by a neutral papermaking method at a papermaking speed of 1300 m / min or more, which improves the yield of fine components in a paper on a wire. Another object of the present invention is to provide a method for obtaining a printing paper having good interlayer strength. SOLUTION: (a) A mixture of a copolymer having a quaternization rate of 40 mol% or more obtained by polymerizing a monomer component containing a hydrophobic monomer and a cationic monomer, and (b) an intrinsic viscosity. By using together emulsion type cationic polyacrylamide having a weight average molecular weight of 10 million or more according to the method, it is possible to improve the yield in high-speed papermaking and obtain a printing paper excellent in interlayer strength.
