abstract An object of the present invention is to produce a porous film having larger pores than before. A liquid film made of a polymer solution in which a polymer is dissolved in a solvent is disposed in a chamber of a porous film manufacturing apparatus. The humidified air from the humidifier 91 and the solvent gas from the solvent gas generator 93 are mixed by the mixer 95 to produce a mixed gas, and this mixed gas is sent into the chamber 82. Thereby, water droplets are formed on the liquid film 31, grown and arranged. After the arrangement, air is sent from the third blower 92 to the mixer 95 without passing through the humidifier 91, and the supply of the solvent gas to the mixer 95 is stopped. Then, the solvent from the liquid film 31 is evaporated, and when the fluidity of the liquid film 31 is lost, the water droplets are evaporated. [Selection] Figure 8
