abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin-coated carrier in which a resin coating layer composed of acrylic-modified silicone resin particles is dry-coated, which can suppress aggregation of carrier particles during production and has a high charge-providing ability stability for toner over a long period of time. The present invention provides a two-component developer containing the resin-coated carrier, a developing device and an image forming apparatus using the two-component developer, and a method for producing a resin-coated carrier. A resin-coated carrier has a resin coating layer formed on the surface of a carrier core material. The resin coating layer is formed by dry using acrylic-modified silicone resin particles, and contains 11% to 32% of a silicone component with respect to the total weight of the resin contained in the resin coating layer. A two-component developer containing such a resin-coated carrier is filled in a developing device inside the image forming apparatus to form an image. [Selection] Figure 2 |
