[PROBLEMS] To provide excellent dimensional stability and heat resistance of a power transmission belt when a glass fiber for rubber reinforcement in which a coating layer is provided on a strand formed by bundling glass fiber filaments is embedded in a hydrogenated nitrile rubber to form a power transmission belt. Provided is a power transmission belt that gives water resistance and oil resistance, in particular, excellent oil resistance. A strand obtained by bundling a plurality of glass fiber filaments and a phenol-formaldehyde condensate selected from monohydroxybenzene-formaldehyde condensate or chlorophenol-formaldehyde condensate and vinylpyridine-styrene-butadiene copolymer A rubber reinforcing glass comprising a coalescent and a primary coating layer containing hydrogenated nitrile rubber 2 and a secondary coating layer containing chlorosulfonated polyethylene and a triazine compound formed thereon.
