titleOfInvention Method for producing dyed plastic lens
abstract A plastic lens having a refractive index of 1.7 or more, particularly a refractive index of 1.7 to 1.8, can be uniformly dyed at a high density without unevenness while suppressing deformation and discoloration of the plastic lens. Provided is a method for producing a possible dyed plastic lens. A step (1) of applying a sublimation dye onto a substrate made of glass, after the plastic lens is installed so that the dyed surface of the plastic lens faces the surface of the substrate coated with the sublimation dye. The sublimation dye applied on the substrate is sublimated by heating the substrate obtained in the step (1) at a vacuum degree of 1 × 10 4 Pa or less, and the sublimated dye is put into the plastic lens. The step (2) of adhering to the dyed surface of the lens without penetrating, and the dye adhering to the plastic lens by heat-treating the plastic lens to which the sublimation dye obtained in the step (2) is adhered A method for producing a dyed plastic lens, comprising the step (3) of permeating the lens into the lens.
