titleOfInvention | Method of forming outer shell of base isolation structure and base isolation structure |
abstract | A method for forming a shell of a base isolation structure capable of forming a shell excellent in internal protection performance in a short time and with high productivity on the outer periphery of a base isolation structure body. SOLUTION: A hard layer 2a and an unvulcanized soft layer are alternately laminated to form a laminated body, and vulcanized to obtain a seismic isolation structure main body 2. While this seismic isolation structure body 2 has residual heat due to vulcanization, a rubber-containing liquid is applied to the outer peripheral surface thereof. As a result, the rubber-containing liquid is dried by this residual heat, and the outer skin 3 is formed on the outer peripheral surface of the seismic isolation structure main body 2 to form the seismic isolation structure 1. The rubber-containing liquid contains at least one of butyl rubber and halogenated butyl rubber, and preferably contains a layered clay mineral filler. [Selection] Figure 1 |
