The present invention provides a new technique for inducing differentiation of mesenchymal stem cells. A method for inducing differentiation of human mesenchymal stem cells, comprising culturing the mesenchymal stem cells in a cell culture vessel having a culture surface modified with a dendrimer compound. A method for inducing differentiation of leaf stem cells. A commercially available square 8-well plate (made of polystyrene, surface area of 9.6 cm 2 / well) having a flat culture surface modified with different generations of dendrimers with D-glucose bonded to the end is used.
