abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a release film for a liquid crystal polarizing plate made of a polyester film capable of realizing a high degree of accuracy in inspection by a crossed Nicol method that is suitable for processing in widening and high quality of the manufacturing process of the liquid crystal polarizing plate. SOLUTION: A film width is 1460 mm or more, an L value measured by a film reflection method is 65 to 77, a film surface roughness (Ra) is 11 to 25 nm, and a sag is 15 mm / m or less.
