titleOfInvention Supplying spent nuclear fuel material
abstract A method for supplying spent nuclear fuel material capable of improving the operating rate of a reprocessing facility is provided. A fuel discharge valve is closed and a rotary feeder is rotated. Powdered spent nuclear fuel material in the temporary storage tank 3 is conveyed by the rotary feeder 2 and supplied into the fuel receiving storage tank 6. When a set amount of spent nuclear fuel material is filled in the fuel receiving storage tank 6, the rotary feeder 2 is stopped and the supply of the used nuclear fuel material is stopped. The fuel supply valve 5 is closed and the fuel receiving storage tank 6 is heated by the heater 24. Water contained in the spent nuclear fuel material evaporates. The exhaust fan 21 is driven, and the air containing the vapor in the fuel receiving storage tank 6 is exhausted to the off-gas processing device 22. The fuel discharge valve 7 is opened, and the spent nuclear fuel material in the fuel receiving storage tank 6 is supplied into the fuel storage tank 8. The fuel discharge valve 7 is closed and the rotary feeder 16 is rotated to supply the spent nuclear fuel material in the fuel storage tank 8 to the fluorination apparatus 10. [Selection] Figure 1
