abstract |
An electrolyte membrane capable of exhibiting high proton conductivity and high fuel barrier properties over a long period of time is provided. A silicon-oxygen crosslinked structure (A) represented by the following general formula (1) and a crosslinked structure having an acid group and represented by the following general formula (2) by a silicon-oxygen bond are provided. The electrolyte membrane is heated while bringing the silane compound (Z) into contact with the electrolyte membrane having an acid group-containing crosslinked structure (B) that has or can form the crosslinked structure, and is linked by a silicon-oxygen bond. A process for producing a silane-treated electrolyte membrane characterized by comprising a step; a silane-treated electrolyte membrane produced by such a production method.
