titleOfInvention | Delivery system for grafts |
abstract | A delivery system for a new implant is provided. A flexible low profile delivery system for delivery of an inflatable intracorporeal device, particularly an intravascular implant having at least one belt circumferentially disposed around the device in a restraining configuration. Piece. The belt is released by a release member, such as a release wire, by pulling the wire from both ends of the belt loop type. To control the order of release and placement of the endovascular graft, it can be released sequentially using multiple belts. When the endovascular graft is in a restrained state, an external protective sheath can be placed around the intravascular graft. This sheath membrane must be retracted first before the graft is released from the restrained state or otherwise removed. The delivery system can be configured to deliver using a guidance device, such as a guidewire. This delivery system can also be configured for delivery of bifurcated intracorporeal devices.
