abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-aqueous secondary battery having a high capacity and high safety when an abnormality occurs such as overcharge. SOLUTION: A positive electrode, an electrolyte, and an explosion-proof valve that prevents the battery from bursting by being cleaved by an increase in internal pressure and discharging gas to the outside of the battery, and that the electrolyte contains diphenyl disulfide or a derivative thereof.
