abstract |
An object of the present invention is to provide a method capable of depolymerizing polyester and unsaturated polyester quickly and with a simple apparatus. In one embodiment of the depolymerization method of the present invention, a polyester is irradiated with microwaves in the presence of alkylene glycol in which fine titanium oxide powder having a bulk density of 0.3 g / cm 3 or less is dispersed. By using such a depolymerization method of the present invention, polyester, unsaturated polyester or polyurethane raw materials such as alkylene glycol and unsaturated dibasic acid can be efficiently recovered.
