titleOfInvention Stent
abstract The present invention provides a stent with an amount of a drug capable of suppressing not only a repair reaction of physical damage caused in a stenosis portion by stent placement but also an inflammatory reaction due to an influence of a polymer used in the stent. It is to easily provide a stent capable of effectively suppressing neointimal thickening and reducing the restenosis rate by being realized in adjacent coronary artery tissue. A stent having a substantially non-degradable material in a living body as a stent base, wherein the stent has a coating layer containing a drug on at least a part of the surface of the stent base. When the stent is placed in a porcine coronary artery, (a) the drug is present in the coronary artery tissue adjacent to the stent 28 days after placement. [Selection figure] None
