abstract |
To obtain a high concentration of trans-1,4-cyclohexanedicarboxylic acid (t-CHDA) by efficiently isomerizing cis-1,4-cyclohexanedicarboxylic acid (c-CHDA) by a simple method. A manufacturing method is provided. A method for producing t-CHDA, wherein a mixture of c-CHDA and t-CHDA (crude CHDA) is heated above the melting point of c-CHDA and maintained at a temperature below the melting point of t-CHDA. The isomerization reaction is performed while the isomerized t-CHDA is precipitated in the molten c-CHDA, and the t-CHDA precipitated in the molten c-CHDA is separated and recovered. t-CHDA was manufactured to solve the above problems.
