titleOfInvention | Image forming apparatus |
abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of reducing deteriorated toner in a developer. An image holding body and a developing device, and the developing device transports to a developing area facing the image holding body, and is predetermined on the image holding body in the developing area. The image carrier is transported to the main development area facing the other part excluding the edge, and the image bearing member has a main development part having a first potential difference, and the sub-face facing the end of the development area. The image carrier, which conveys the developer to the development area, is a development roll having a sub-development unit having a second potential difference different from the first potential difference, and the developer downstream from the toner supply port. A transport body held on the surface has a potential difference between the transport body and an adsorbing body that adsorbs the toner from the developer being transported by the transport body with this potential difference.
