abstract | The present invention provides a process for producing β-lactams that can prevent the decomposition of [2 + 2] cycloadducts (β-lactams) to a higher degree. A first raw material liquid containing olefins and a second raw material liquid containing a sulfonyl isocyanate represented by the general formula (2): XSO 2 NCO (2) are joined together.
