abstract |
To provide an elevator and an elevator 1 noise reduction method capable of effectively reducing aerodynamic noise generated when a car passes through a narrow part of a hoistway during high-speed operation of the elevator. An elevator (1) has a hoistway (2) provided in a building having a plurality of floors, a car (5) that moves up and down in the hoistway (2), and a pair of electrodes, which are applied to these electrodes. A plasma airflow generator 19 that generates an airflow by the action of discharge plasma generated between electrodes by a driving voltage, and an airflow generated from the plasma airflow generator 1 by controlling the driving voltage applied to the plasma airflow generator 19. And a control device 12 for controlling the operation of the car 5, and the plasma airflow generation device 19 is installed in any narrow part in the hoistway 2. [Selection] Figure 1 |
