abstract The present invention provides a light reflector that can sufficiently and inexpensively prevent yellowing due to ultraviolet rays. A light reflecting plate made of a thermoplastic resin sheet having fine bubbles or pores, wherein the bubbles or pores are exposed on at least one surface of the thermoplastic resin sheet. This light reflecting plate can be obtained, for example, by a method of cutting a thermoplastic polyester foam sheet 20 having fine bubbles 18 so that a cut surface 22 perpendicular to the thickness direction is formed.
