abstract |
An antibacterial and transparent medical material and a method for producing the same are provided. A medical device comprising a silicone component-containing polymer (A) obtained by polymerizing a monomer composition containing at least one silicone monomer having a hydroxyl group, and chitosan (B) having a molecular weight of 200 to 800. The manufacturing method of the medical material which immerses the molded object which consists of a material for use and the said silicone component containing polymer (A) in the solution containing the said chitosan (B) after immersing in the solution containing polyacrylic acid.
