Cultured cell constructs containing fetal hepatocyte spheroids |
abstract |
The present invention provides a cell construct containing spheroids of fetal liver cells, a method for producing the same, and a method for inducing into mature hepatocyte spheroids. A culture of feeder cells adhered to a small region on the surface of a substrate and a cultured cell construct comprising a spheroid of fetal liver cells formed thereon, the small region having a diameter of about 20 ˜about 300 μm or another shape having an area corresponding to the circle, and the spheroids are formed by co-culture of the feeder cells and fetal liver cells.
