abstract The present invention provides a fuel cell system that is small in size, high in output, and hardly leaks liquid, and an electronic device equipped with the fuel cell system. A fuel cell system according to the present invention includes a fuel cell stack including two or more unit cells each including a cathode electrode, an electrolyte membrane, and an anode electrode in this order, and a fuel so as to spatially communicate with the cathode electrode. A water-absorbing member that is disposed on the outer surface of the battery stack and absorbs water generated from the cathode electrode, and a heat-generating source that heats the water-absorbing member.
