titleOfInvention Method for decomposing polylactic acid, and method for treating organic matter containing polylactic acid
abstract Provided is a method for easily and efficiently decomposing highly pure lactic acid from an organic substance containing polylactic acid. An organic substance 1 containing polylactic acid is decomposed from polylactic acid into high-purity lactic acid by treating it in a gas 5 atmosphere containing a specific amine compound. The polylactic acid contained in the organic substance to be treated is a polymer having lactic acid as a main constituent unit of the polymer. The gas 5 atmosphere containing an amine compound means an atmosphere in which the amine compound is vaporized and exists as a gas, and is treated by exposing the organic substance to the atmosphere.
